Personal Paragliding Coaching with Bob Drury and Russell Ogden -

This exciting new event will offer two full days of coaching from
two of Britain's leading flying personalities in an intimate and
friendly setting.
Bob is world-famous for his numerous flying voyages into the globe's
most awesome and dangerous mountain ranges, is the British team
coach, and also editor of Cross-Country Magazine.
Russell is a member of the British A-Team, was Paragliding Champion
of Britain last year, is a test pilot for Ozone, and is also a top
Acro-pilot.
This exclusive chance to further your flying skills with not one,
but two of the most talented, yet approachable, pilots on the scene
will give you the ideal base from which to launch the future of
your paragliding career.
The event will take place as follows:
You will be collected from Nice Airport on Friday the 31st. of March
and transported to the Gîte du Cheiron in Gréolières,
situated among six of Europe's top flying sites. You will be greeted
with a smile and a beer and made to feel at home in our comfortable
accommodation.
On Saturday morning you will be introduced to Bob and Russell, who
will brief you on the conditions and flying schedule for the days
ahead.
On both days, you will be transported to an appropriate site or
sites, and with just five people to each instructor, will spend
a hugely beneficial two days improving your cross-country, thermalling,
or even simply your soaring techniques. You will be accompanied
by Bob and Russell throughout the entirety of the two day course.
On Sunday evening Bob and Russell will be joining us for a debriefing
session which will rapidly metamorphose into a party to celebrate
the weekend's achievements!
On Monday you will be transported back to Nice airport to connect
with your flight home.
This new event offers an exclusive chance to meet and be coached
by two of the world's top paraglider pilots in comfortable accommodation
and set in the magnificent surroundings of the mountains behind
the French Riviera.
We are limiting the places to ten so that you will receive personal
and individual advice in order to maximise your flying potential.
Price: 395 Euros per person (approx.
£ 275).
PILOT REQUIREMENTS:
Club Pilot Qualification, plus AT LEAST 10 hours genuine airtime
in a variety of conditions.
Included in the price:
* Two full days of hands-on tuition by Bob Drury and Russell Ogden
(In the unlikely event of some of the weekend being unflyable, Bob
and Russell will be giving lectures on flying practice and theory,
answering individual questions, and showing films on flying skills
and their worldwide flying adventures).
* All transport costs, including from and to the airport, to and
from flying sites, and retrievals for cross-country pilots.
* Accommodation for three nights (with all available 15 spaces in
our three apartments being given over to the course to maximise
comfort).
* Breakfasts for three days.
* Sunday evening party including vast amounts of good food, beer
and wine!
NOT included in the price:
* Flights to and from Nice Airport.
* Lunches (we can supply a packed lunch for a small additional charge,
or you are welcome to prepare your own in the apartments' kitchen
areas - there is a small supermarket and baker's in the village.
* Evening meals on Friday and Saturday evenings (there are some
great restaurants five minutes' walk from the gîte - we can
make reservations for you in advance and ensure you have some good
times savouring the exquisite local cuisine, or some of the best
pizzas in the region!).
