Directions from Nice Airport

The first thing to do on leaving the airport is to get on to the A8 motorway (Autoroute) in the direction of Cannes and Marseilles (Westbound). This can be a little tricky, depending on whether you arrive at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, even though the motorway passes within a few hundred metres of the airport exits, but look out for the blue splashes on the road signs.

You will stay on the A8 for only 5 minutes, exiting at Junction 48, signposted to Vence and Cagnes. 50 centimes is required for the toll immediately on leaving the autoroute. Pass through the tolls and continue straight ahead, passing various shops and other commerces, crossing a couple of roundabouts, until you arrive at a roundabout from which Vence is indicated off to the right. Take the road to Vence, arriving about 15 minutes later in the town - the approach takes you up a hill lined with shops, finishing at a smallish, flattish roundabout in the town.

Go straight over this roundabout, after which the road you require veers to the right between two blocks of shops. Look for the signs to Col de Vence. The road then crosses a fiddly little junction, but you are continuing more or less straight ahead; again follow the sign to Col de Vence.

This little road winds up in to the hills, and after about 20 minutes you will eventually pass the village of Coursegoules off to the right. Do not turn off here, but continue ahead for another 10 minutes , finally arriving at a junction where you will turn right for Gréolières, arriving at the village in a couple of minutes.

The road forks at the entrance to the village, just after a small supermarket on the right - continue along the main road (right fork), and once past the village, after a few hundred metres, you will see our sign on the left of the first main hairpin bend going off to the right.

Descend our driveway with caution as it's a sharp drop!

Please note that this is slightly longer than an alternative route which is temporarily blocked due to a rockfall. We will update the site as the road is repaired.
